I’m honoured to have a quote of mine on the introduction page of the latest Collins Big Cat Catelogue. It almost (almost!) makes me feel like a proper author!

It never gets old seeing all my Shinoy and the Chaos Crew books and graphic novels – illustrated by the amazing Amit Tayal – on a two page spread. There’s so many of them!

And now I have my World War Two adventure, set in the shipyards of my hometown in Wallsend, included in their new ‘Read On’ series of books.

World Book Day 2026

I had a brilliant time celebrating World Book Day with pupils at West Thornton Primary Academy in Croydon, London.

Thank you to all the staff and my lovely audiences for making me feel so welcome. It was a lot of fun watching so many bright and excited imaginations creating their own disaster stories. There are a lot of future authors out there!
